Initial set-up

To start using Viber on our SMS.to platform, please perform the following steps:

  1. Login in to our platform

  2. Click on Request Viber Activation, from the left-hand side menu

  3. Download the form, by clicking on the Download button

  4. Fill out the form on your laptop with the correct information, keep in mind all fields are mandatory.

  5. Save the file, and together with the requested logo images in all the requested sizes, send it to sales@sms.to

  6. Our specialists will reach out to you once the registration is complete.

 

Sending Viber Messages From SMS.to Interface

Once the registration has been completed, a monthly subscription will be generated for you, which covers the minimum consumption for the countries that you’ve selected as destinations. Messages exceeding the minimum consumption will generate additional balance deductions on top of the monthly minimum amount, on the time of sending.

To send Viber Messages from our platform, please perform the following steps:

  1. Go to the Send Viber tab, which should be visible for you after the registration has been completed

  2. Choose one of the 3 methods for adding recipients: 

    1. Single Number

    2. Paste Numbers

    3. List

  3. Fill in the text of the message.

    1. you can add a shortlink

    2. you can use merge fields for a more personalized message

    3. you can use an existing template or create a new one

    4. Your Brand (SenderID) will be filled in by default.

      1. In case you have multiple registered brands, please select the one that you intent to use from the dropdown.

    5. If you wish to enhance your message by inserting additional types of content, enabling the Marketing toggle will allow you to add:

      1. an image

      2. a button with a caption text and a target URL

    6. If you wish to enable the Fallback to SMS, please make sure to fill in the SMS text in the highlighted area.

      1. Please note that the SMS will need to contain just text, limited to 160 characters per message.

        1. If your SMS is longer, it will be sent as multiple messages.

        2. Balance will be deducted for the SMS as well.

  4. Check the Preview to make sure everything is correct, and click Send.

Viber reports

To check the Viber messages reports, please perform the following steps:

  1. Go to Reports in the left-side menu

  2. Check the Campaign tab and the Viber log

      1. Here you can see the details of each message

      2. You can filter by time frame, user, brand, type, status, recipient

      3. You can export
